Malachy’s Saloon
Description
Malachy’s Saloon is a proper old-school Irish pub—just don’t arrive expecting a menu. Despite what you might hear elsewhere, there’s no food served here. What they do offer, though, is something arguably better: a genuine pub atmosphere where you can bring your own food, settle in, and enjoy a pint without any fuss.
Inside, it’s exactly what you’d hope for—warm, a bit worn-in, and full of character. There’s a pool table, dart boards, Keno, scratch tickets, and a jukebox keeping things ticking along. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose a few hours without noticing.
The crowd is loyal, and for good reason. The owners and bartenders are known for being genuinely friendly and hardworking, which gives the whole place that easy, welcoming feel. It’s less “going out” and more “dropping in.”
Midweek has its own charm too—Wednesday nights bring an Irish session, which adds a proper touch of home and gives the place a bit of rhythm beyond the usual pub chatter.
