Paddy’s Lunch

Paddy’s Lunch is the oldest family-owned pub in Cambridge, serving the neighbourhood since 1934. Small, unpretentious, and full of character, it’s the sort of place where the regulars know one another and newcomers are quickly folded into the conversation. The bar has been run by three generations of women and remains a proper neighbourhood institution.

Step inside and you’ll find a true time-capsule pub — darts, cold beer, a game on the television, and plenty of stories at the bar. It’s the sort of place where families have been drinking for decades and everyone seems to know someone. Despite the name, there’s no food served. The bar is also cash-only, though there’s an ATM inside the pub. Prices are modest, the space is small, and the personalities inside are anything but.
